The new policy provides both male and female agents with an additional 30 day period following their FMLA entitlement in which they can utilize additional paid leave or unpaid leave or work a modified schedule. Individual agents can use extra sick leave, vacation, etc, or work less than 40 hours weekly during that 30 day period.
